Abba Vibes with Pom Poms...

Jumpsuits are one of my favourite items of clothing because they are so easy to wear, a ready made outfit. I've recently found myself buying more and more but obviously you can never have too many!!
I bought this fab black oversized wide legged jumpsuit from Zara, my local Zara is never really that great but this time there was so much great stuff in stock and also so much in the sale section. This only cost me £5.99, I absolutely love the oversized slouchy style and that it can be dressed up or worn casually.

I wore this out whilst I was in Newcastle a couple of weekends ago, we were going to see the fabulous Beauty & the Beast and then for food and cocktails so needed a not too dressy outfit for the occasion. I wore what I think is supposed to be a long gold neck chain as a belt to tie the jumpsuit in at the waist along with my patchwork gold and silver boots.  My friend thought I looked as though I should be part of an Abba revival act hence the blog title!

As this outfit was all black I thought it was the perfect opportunity to wear my incredible Pomme Pomme London earrings that I was bought for Christmas. I absolutely love them they certainly jazzed up the outfit and added a much needed splash of colour. I definitely need to invest in some more of their styles I think they'll be absolutely perfect through festival season!

Spring Crochet...

Spring is well and truly here, today has been such a nice day and has totally got me in the mood for Summer! I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays this way for the first all day festival next weekend.
The warmer weather means I can finally stop wrapping up warm, I hate layering up and wearing coats, this metallic silver jacket is the perfect cover up for this time of year. I've even bought one to cover in pom poms for festival season!

Crochet is perfect for Spring to Summer and I bought this fab little top from New Look for only £1, it has a tie neck and a low back. I love the bright blue shades and its great for bringing some colour in to an outfit.
I've styled it with my super comfy mom jeans bought from Blue Rinse kilo sale in Manchester, and also with my silver and gold patchwork boots from Primark.
To add an extra bit of brightness I'm wearing my fab Jaded London rainbow sequin choker.

Paisley and Metallics...

I love a good printed shirt, so had to have this fab Jacques Vert shirt when I spotted it on eBay I think I even won it for only 99p. Its a beautiful silk like material and I love the paisley pattern and the different blue and purple shades.
I have another Jacques Vert shirt in a similar style but a very different print that I also won from eBay.

It has an oversized fit which I especially like to tuck in to skirts and trousers. I've styled the shirt with this fab metallic skirt that I picked up in the Matalan sale (for only £3), it is a gorgeous metallic  blue and goes perfectly with the paisley shirt.
I've styled with fish net tights and also my patchwork metallic boots which I'm slowly getting used to walking in!!

Embellished Jumpsuit and Metallics...

It’s finally starting to seem as though Winter is behind us and Spring is well and truly on the way, and I couldn’t be more excited!
I hate the cold and really don’t like dressing for dreary wintery weather, I definitely live in the wrong country. This year has gone so quickly which means its very nearly the start of festival season, mainly small day ones but fabulous all the same.

I picked this fabulous vintage jumpsuit/boilersuit from a weigh and pay last year and completely forgot about it, it made its way into the back of my wardrobe and wasn’t seen again. Now I’ve found it I can’t wait to get it out in this warmer weather I love the bright top and the oversized fit I’ve used a belt to bring in the waist a little it also has fab little embellishments scattered on the top.

I’ve recently had my ears pierced for the first time in 25 years! I was umming and ahhing, but finally took the plunge and that obviously meant I needed to get some No Basic Bombshell earrings in my life, the first two pairs I bought are the glitter unicorns and the mini glitter sea shells and they are both absolutely incredible I’ll be adding more to my collection for sure.

Fringing Overload...

I've been a fan of Kiss The Sky for quite some time now, but haven't seen much of their clothing in shops since Ark Clothing shut down - they were my go to! However in the closing down sale I managed to pick up so many bargain items, this Kiss The Sky Dress being one of them, I think it only cost be about £3!

I did however forget all about this dress and it ended up crammed into the back of my wardrobe, only to be found now I've been attempting a clear out. I love the gorgeous paisley and the fabulous feather faux suede waist tie and faux suede fringe detailing. I've styled this with my Topshop fringed jacket just for even more fringing, you can never have too much fringing!

This outfit would be so perfect for a festival I could totally see myself prancing around Glastonbury in it (fingers crossed for the resale!!)
