Rainbow Brights...

If there's any time to wear bright stand out colours, it's Summer when the sun is at its brightest! I absolutely love anything bright and colourful or with a fab pattern especially during festival season. My favourite last year was the incredible rainbow unitard by Minga London, I wore it as often as possible.

Following the brightly coloured theme, I found this Playsuit last year on ASOS I actually had it in my favourites for a long time so when I eventually got round to buying it sadly summer was over and it didn't get as much wear as it truly deserves!
The Playsuit itself has tie straps so these can be adjusted to the desired fit, it is an oversized style which is perfect for when it's warm, (I'll definitely be taking it on holiday this year) the colours are also so vibrant it's a really stand out piece.

In this look I've styled the Playsuit with my customised oversized denim jacket, the jacket itself was from the Manchester Thrift store and I added on all the fabulous sequin patches. This is a great cover up for when the sun goes in at the evening and I wore it loads during festivals last year.
I'm also wearing fabulous Pom Pom earrings which surprisingly I purchased from Poundworld! Absolute bargains, I've stocked up in every colour available so they'll be making many appearances this summer!

Summer Dress of Dreams...

Summer is my favourite time of year for many reasons, its festival season and the sun actually shows its face meaning the most beautiful floaty clothes can be worn. I absolutely love my summer wardrobe and everything that starts to become available on the high street.

The moment I saw this dress browsing through Instagram I knew I needed it in my life, it's absolutely everything I love. It has big floaty sleeves and is an oversized fit with gorgeous embroidery detailing, the dress comes with a slip dress underneath and the overlay is a mesh material.
The dress sold out almost instantly, so when my order arrived and was too big I panicked I luckily managed to source a smaller size and got to swap it, if I hadn't though I'd definitely still have kept it.

I've not actually had the opportunity to wear the dress out yet the right occasion hasn't arrived just yet, and when I have gone to wear it it's been pouring with rain! But I'm sure it will soon, although my next festival Download, may not be the right place.
This dress is an absolute dream, I can't wait to wear it properly when the British Summer finally shows it's face!

Crochet, Flares and Fringing...

I absolutely love flared style trousers, and this time of year is perfect for wearing them. I've owned this pair for a couple of years originally buying them for The Courteeners Heaton Park gig, but I have worn them to death since. These trousers are made from a super soft material and are so comfy, I could live in them all day every day!

I bought this pair originally from Missguided but this flare style is still available everywhere on the high street. This pastel tile print is perfect for the Spring time, I've styled them with a tie neck and back top from Primark and also a fringed faux suede waist coat to add a festival vibe to the look.
I've accessorised simply with some large rose gold circle sunglasses which complete the festival, summer vibe.
