What I'm Wearing... Vintage Beads and Festival Lace

It's now just under two months until Glastonbury, and the start of festival season my absolute favourite time of year! This bank holiday weekend I've made a promise to myself to sort out my wardrobe and unearth all my fab summer pieces!
This outfit is totally festival inspired, I love the lace dress layered over a crochet crop and the fab printed shorts from Primark, I think they were only £5! I'll be wearing them lots this summer! I've accessorised this outfit with the gorgeous necklace I received in my final Style By Portobello subscription box and also with one of my faves from last year, the silver hair chain I wore it constantly last year and this year will be no different!

Whats In My... Style By Portobello Subscription Box

I can't believe how quickly the past 3 months has gone, this is my final Style By Portobello vintage subscription box! It again contains some absolutely beautiful vintage pieces!
Style By Portobello is a subscription box service that delivers beautiful vintage accessories to your doorstep once a month, the boxes can contain up to 3 pieces vintage pieces handpicked especially for you by the Style By Portobello team!
This month is no exception I received two fab pieces, a small black vintage bag and a beautiful blue necklace! I can't wait to style these pieces up this month!

The first piece is this beautiful black bag it has a gorgeous broderie anglaise panel down the middle of the bag and gold detailing on the clasp and handles. This bag is such a useable size also, it's not too big but not too small and will be a perfect evening bag.

The final piece that came in this months Style By Portobello box is this beautiful blue and white vintage necklace, this necklace looks so nice on and is the perfect colours for Spring and Summer. I can't wait to wear it with pale pastels, creams and lace!

I'm so sad that my collaboration with Style By Portobello is over I have recieved some absolutely fabulous pieces in the past three months! I would highly recommend these boxes to absolutely everyone, go check them out immediately!

What I'm Wearing... Studs and Crochet

This weekend I finally got around to using the Bleach London BeachLights hair kit with a lot (when I say I, I mean Ashton) I am really pleased with the results as I needed some blonde re-injected in to my hair! Now I just a need a tan like the one I had last year, I'm currently looking very ghostly!
This outfit features the final piece from my second Style By Portobello vintage subscription box a red vintage scarf, I like to wear these as head bands and wanted to use this scarf to inject some colour in to this very black outfit!
This is a very summery almost festival style look, with the fab tasseled crochet top and black studded shorts finished off with my super comfy Lamoda boots. I've also accessorised with my Lamoda faux septum ring, I absolutely love these I have a gold and a silver in this style but haven't actually managed to wear them as much as I'd like to s far! They will definitely be coming out a lot more in Summer!

What I'm Wearing... Statement Studded Belt

This week I've realised I need to have a clear out my wardrobe is absolutely bulging at the seams! I need to unearth some of my old favourites in time for summer! Especially if the rumours are true about a 3 month heatwave (yes please!)!!

One of the fab pieces I received in my Style By Portobello subscription box is this gorgeous red statement belt!
It reminds be of some Vivienne Westwood pieces I absolutely love the gold studs all around the band that compliment the bright shade of red so well.
I have styled it with a gold foil effect strapped dress and my fave crochet kimono of the moment. This look would be great for an evening out or even when the suns out could be worn out in the day! I've had this dress for years and totally forgot I even owned it(I love finding gems in my wardrobe!)!

What I'm Wearing... Boho Paisley Trousers

I first spotted these trousers on the Primark Instagram and instantly fell in love they are the perfect floaty flared style for Spring! Then I next saw them in my local Primark for some stupid reason (I was trying to be sensible!) I didn't buy them! I obviously regretted this and when I went back they had completely sold out!
I was in Manchester the following weekend and thought I'd definitely get them there as its a much larger store but obviously they didn't have either! (I am so unlucky!) I'd begun to come to terms with the fact I wasn't going to find them again when I spotted them a few weeks later in Manchester where they instantly went in my basket!
I absolutely love them, the print is absolutely fabulous and I just love this style of trouser! The floaty Pom Pom off shoulder top is also from Primark. I've worn them a few times now and am after more trousers in a similar style I think they are absolutely perfect for early spring weather as its so unpredictable! Primark have such a great SS15 collection this year so I'd highly recommend checking it out!

What I'm Wearing... Gold Vintage Brooch

The weather has been preventing me from even attempting to take blog photos but now the clocks have gone forward I have more time now to take photos after work! I've also been non stop at the weekends with lots of gigs (The View, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Sleeping with Sirens all in 5 days!) and bank holidays!

This outfit features the gorgeous gold brooch I was sent in this months Style By Portobello subscription box, I absolutely love it and I love the way it brings this outfit to life. I have been wearing this crochet kimono so much recently its the perfect cover up and I bought it in a charity shop along with this pastel orange skirt (which was only £1) the skirt is originally from Primark. It instantly stood out from the rails as I absolutely love this shade of orange its so beautiful and perfect for Spring!
