Festive Jumper

So it's Christmas Eve and I've finally broken up from work and I'm starting to feel festive! I absolutely love a good Christmas jumper I like to buy a fab new vintage one every year, this year I bought s fab cardigan from Cow in Manchester you may have seen it on my Instagram. However I also wanted a slightly less obvious festive jumper I absolutely loved this bright vintage number from eBay the added sequin detail and the gorgeous festive colour way is great for Winter but also for any other time of year! 

I've styled it very simply with a pair of ripped knee Jamie jeans and a sparkly mermaid headband!

Festive Mermaid Sparkles

This mermaid sequin shirt has been my absolute favourite purchase of the year if I could wear it every day I would! I wanted to try and style it a bit differently and it looks fab with my Blue Rinse mom jeans this could totally be a day or night look! I bought this gorgeous cami top from a charity shop in Brighton this summer, I think it is supposed to be worn as lingerie but looks fab styled under the sequin shirt.  I've created fabulous glitter lips to give and extra festive sparkle and to add to the mermaid feel of the look.

I've been attempting to be ruthless and sort out my wardrobe as its beginning to absolutely bulge at the seams! However every time I try to get rid of old clothes I rediscover pieces I totally forgot I owned, this coat being one of them. I bought it when I used to work in an Oxfam charity shop and wore it to death at the time but it found its way to the back of my wardrobe never to be seen again!!

It's the perfect autumnal winter colour and I'm excited to start wearing it again. 

This look is styled with another fabulous pair of flared trousers I absolutely love this style and have been wearing them so much this year. This pair are from Topshop and I've worn them with a plain black crop although I have also worn them with my lace bell sleeved top from previous posts!

Fancy Feathers and Glitter

I'd been eyeing up this incredible feather gilet on Topshop for quite some time so when they had a 20% off sale offer on I snapped it up! The weather is so up and down at the moment so it's perfect for throwing on over the top of outfits when it's not too cold. I adore the coloured ombré effect of the feathers and can't wait to wear it constantly. 

I wore it with this sheer vintage maxi dress that I picked up from another Blue Rinse kilo sale, I can't wait to go to the next one in December. 

I also accessorised with one of my favourite hair chains and of course styled up my lipstick with glitter I absolutely love a glitter lip and it makes any outfit more fabulous.

Boho Flares

Embracing the awful Autumn/Winter weather has meant I've taken advantage of the fabulous flared trousers that are absolutely everywhere this season. This pair were in the Topshop sale so we're an absolute bargain and are the perfect colours for this time of year. 

I've styled these with a lace bell sleeved top which was also a bargain picked up from Primark.

I'm not quite sure how this shirt was intended to be worn but I bought it as a dress, luckily it was long enough as a dress! Sometimes I struggle as I'm often too tall for things! I absolutely loved the print and the more Autumny colours, I love burgundy/browns at this time of year. The tie round the waist brings the whole look together although it looks just as fab just as a tunic dress. 

I've styled the look again with my Primark ankle boots they go with pretty much anything and a gorgeous bead detail necklace also from Primark. 

I'm heading to London this weekend so can't wait to go on a little bit of a post pay day spree!

Winter Brights

Winter is truly here it's gotten so cold it's hard to deal with getting out of bed every morning along with the cold the awful weather and early nights make it very difficult to find a decent day to shoot blog photos so I apologise in advance. Yesterday was bitterly cold but the sun was actually out in the garden so I grabbed the chance. I bought this kimono at the beginning of the year I absolutely love the print and that it's so big and floaty, however I haven't worn it half as much as I'd have liked. It's by Kiss the Sky who I have blogged about previously and absolute adore one of my most favourite pieces of clothing this year was by them! 

I love the colours within the print and it certainly brightens up dull wintery days although maybe not the most warm piece of clothing (but who likes being sensible?). I've styled the kimono with this fab New Look cord skirt and my staple Winter ankle boots from Primark which are ridiculously comfortable and accessorised with a gorgeous hair chain from Primark also.
