Floaty Floral Midi...

The current H&M Spring/Summer collection is absolutely incredible it's full of gorgeous floaty fabrics and prints, so I've had to snap them up including the amazing floral mesh dress! 

This dress is also part of the SS17 campaign and as soon as I saw it in store I had to have it, I love the floral pattern and the frill detailing. The dress has a V cut neck and tassel detailing which is perfect for Spring/Summer and also for the start of festival season! 

I bought this dress to wear at the recent 2Q Festival and it was perfect for the occasion. At the time I styled it with black boots and a leather jacket, but this time I've gone for a more girly look with white sandals and one of my favourite hair chains.

Floral Crowns and Boho Vibes...

The sun is finally starting to show its face a lot more now as it begins to edge closer and closer to Summer, this means I can finally start putting all the big coats and jackets away and wear fabulous summery clothes. 

Today was the resale of Glastonbury tickets, the most stressful part of the year and I seem to be becoming more and more unsuccessful in securing tickets. I didn't get them last year and have failed again this year and with a fallow year next year it'll be a whole three years of not going! But this means I'll have to make sure I try out some other different festivals again.

I saw this dress in Primark and it instantly screamed Summer and Festival, I love the tiered design of the dress and the floaty off the shoulder sleeves. The dress has tiny little straps too, which I think I may end up cutting off as they kept slipping down but these are a cute extra detail. 

This dress will be perfect all through Summer and also for any festivals I end up heading too, I've styled it with a tiered silver and gold necklace and a floral crown. I'm also wearing my chunky sandals also from Primark, these would obviously be swapped for wellies at a festival!

Glitter Everything...

I'm like a magpie, if I see anything glittery or shiny I'm instantly drawn towards this and this blue glitter dress was definitely no exception. The photos simply don't do the dress justice but in the sun this dress is so gorgeous the glitter really shone in the sunlight. I bought this dress in the Zara sale for £5.99 (I think?) I loved how versatile it was it can be worn on its own as a dress or layered up like I have with tops underneath. To exaggerate the glitter even more I've worn a mesh top with iridescent detailing which also really shone and glitter in the sunlight. 

I've styled this look with even more glitter (obviously), in the form of my silver glitter boots from Primark which are super comfy and also instantly jazz up any outfit. I'm also wearing my pastel cat eye sunglasses also from Primark. I actually had a cull of my sunglasses collection today I had over 40 pairs and have reluctantly parted with a few pairs (to make space for new ones!) that I've not worn for a while.

Embroidered Mesh...

Embroidery is absolutely everywhere on the high street and its one of the trends I absolutely love and fully embrace! One dress I have been loving more than most is the gorgeous H&M embroidered midi dress from their Spring/Summer collection which I managed to purchase before it sold out everywhere, I can't wait to wear it at a festival very soon!!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently went into Zara and found an array of fabulous pieces this embroidered mesh dress being one of them. Its a midi style with splits to about thigh height up the sides, I love the floral embroidered detail down the front of the dress. 

I've styled it with a black glitter cami dress underneath, however you could also pick out one of the colours of the embroidery and wear this under too for a pop of colour!

I'm wearing my trusty gold and silver patchwork style boots to add a little bit of metallic fabulousness!

Pastel Tie Dye...

The sun has finally been shining and yesterday I went to my first festival of the year (although the sun didn't shine for that!), 2Q Festival in my home city it was absolutely fabulous; The Shimmer Band and VANT were definitely my highlights. 

So along with the sunshine means its time for all the colourful items to finally come back out, they always look better in the sun. 

I've had this pastel tie dye style midi skirt for several years but I still absolutely love it, its a dipped hem style so its shorter at the front than at the back which makes it a much more wearable length. I think sometimes some midi length pieces don't really suit me. But with the gorgeous pastel colour way and print this one definitely does, I've styled it with my fluffy mint green cropped jumper as it is still a little chilly! This is from Primark and I picked it up super cheap in the sale just after Christmas.

I've also been expanding my massive sunglasses collection this year and bought this fab pastel pink cat eye pair from Primark, I had my eye on some glitter ones very similar in Urban Outfitters but these are the perfect and cheaper substitute for the time being!
