Rainbow Festival Frenzy...

So it's mid festival season and I'm off to my fifth festival of the year tomorrow, Y Not. This festival is so close to where I live, I'm surprised at myself that I've never managed to go! The line up this year is so good and I'm really excited to see all of my faves.
My next couple of blog posts are going to be more festivally looks, that I plan on wearing or have worn to festivals this year.

This rainbow unitard has been a massive favourite of mine this year, I absolutely love it. I originally brought the Motel striped unitard as this one was out of stock but luckily this Minga London one came back in stock and I snapped it up. I was going to keep both but it seemed silly to have two so similar so this one obviously one that battle!

I wore this unitard for my birthday weekend at Parklike festival, and for the occasion I had a fabulous feather headpiece made by the wonderful Clare at Headcase Headwear, check her out her headpieces are incredible. I wanted a fab rainbow number to compliment the unitard and she definitely didn't fail to deliver.
I've also styled this look with a white lace maxi kimono, and within this post chunky heels (they obviously don't come with me to festivals!). I have also done glitter eyes using various glitters I've purchased from eBay. I'm really enjoying experimenting with different glitters for different looks this Summer!

Floral Embroidery and Bowie...

I love all of the embroidery detailing that's popping up this season, so when I spotted this embroidery detailed skirt in Primark it was an absolute must have. I love their button down skirts I also have a white one they are such good value for money and are so wearable I think this one was maybe only £12 so an absolute bargain. They also have jeans in two different styles with embroidery detailing but I was sensible and resisted these!

I also picked up this Bowie T Shirt it had gone in the sale for only £3 so as a fan of Bowie I felt I needed it in my life especially at such a low price! The tee is made of a very light cotton it is slightly sheer in places to give it a vintage feel. I love how it looks with this skirt. I've styled the skirt with my chunky black boots and a pair circle lens glasses.

Floaty Fabrics...

I love white floaty fabrics in the Summer months, they look so nice with a summer tan (although I definitely don't have one this year!).  I was shopping after Parklife this year, when I spotted this fab top in Zara I tried it on and fell in love but my sensible head told me not to buy it. A couple of weeks later I was browsing the Zara sale and it had been reduced by 50% I've never been so happy that I didn't buy anything. It went straight in to my basket!
I love the embroidery details around the neckline the mirror detailing and the tassel ties, the colours of this embroidery is in such beautiful bright shades too.

This top would be perfect for a summer holiday and for lounging around on the beach!
I would have loved this top to have been long enough to be worn as a dress but as I am also quite tall I have styled it quite simply with a pair of vintage Levis denim cut off shorts and only accessorised with a pair of huge gold circle framed sunglasses from Primark.

Vintage Sequins and Bright Patterns...

As I always mention I absolutely love a vintage find, its getting to the point where my wardrobe is bursting at it's seams. I just can't resist something that I may never see again anywhere else! This sequin jacket is no exception to that rule, I purchased it at a kilo sale and surprisingly for a sequin jacket it is super lightweight so would've cost me less than £5!
I am also always scouring eBay for anything fabulous, I spotted this skirt its a fabulous bright print and in a midi style it's by Jaeger so is great quality it only cost me £5/6 so again was a bargain.

I've styled this look with my tassel bandeau along with my fabulous chunky Lamoda rainbow sandals. Even though I am actual Bambi on ice when walking in them they look good and that's all that matters, right?
Again I'm wearing my favourite sunglasses of this year from Primark, I'm down to my last pair after losing my other back up pairs and I haven't seen them in Primark since I bought them! Being really good at losing things I've had to find a replacement for my usual Candy Yum Yum MAC lipstick, after losing it at a gig. This Revlon Colorburst lip stain is a great alternative until I get my favourite back in to my life!
