Pastel Fluff and Sequins...

I absolutely love these jeans that I customised over Summer and couldn't bare to not be able to wear them through out winter, so when I spotted this fabulous little cropped mint green jumper in Primark I knew they would go perfectly together.  I'd never seen this top before it went in to sale, which seems to happen a lot in my local Primark so for £3 it was an absolute bargain!
This look is slightly chilly on its own for these grim winter days, so I've also be layering up with larger chunky pastel jumpers over the top!

I've styled with a pair of chunky black sandals from Primark, and a pair of glittery lilac socks. However these photos don't do them justice as they are slightly over exposed from too much sun in my garden (can you believe it)!
I'm also wearing my new favourite lipstick by Illamasqua, I bought it in their sale to test them out and I'm definitely a fan and will be buying more (I may or may not have just ordered four more)!

Vintage Embroidery...

Embroidery has been all over the high street recently and this Primark skirt has been one of my favourites this season, it's so easy to style. I bought it towards the end of Summer and haven't stopped wearing it since. They have different styles in stock now as part of the new season but in a darker denim.
I found this embroidered jacket a few weeks ago in a charity shop it has an all over embroidered pattern with beaded detail in gorgeous autumnal shades. It was an absolute bargain so I couldn't resist picking it up.
I've styled it with a vintage shirt with floral embroidery detail it's a nice oversized fit and a gold choker I picked up in the Matalan sale.

New Year, New Sequins...

So 2016 was over in the blink of an eye, (must be a getting old thing) and it's now 2017. I'm not one for making new years resolutions as I'd probably be rubbish and break them within a week! I am however aiming to continue everything I was doing in 2016 and take it up a notch, this includes the very hard task of saving money. I'm so bad at this and get so easily tempted but if I ever want to get to Australia I need to up my game so I guess that's my one and only resolution for this year.

I thought I'd start 2017 with how I mean to go on with lots of sequins within this post, my sequin collection is constantly growing and I bought these two items within the last couple of weeks, it's becoming an addiction. The dress is made up of lots of different sequins of all shapes and sizes in gold tones, I actually found it in a charity shop but it's originally River Island and I actually wore it for my work Christmas party. The bomber jacket is from Primark and I'd had my eye on it for a while, its a black velvet with patched sequin detailing. It went in to the sale for £10 so instantly made it's way in to my basket. I've styled casually with thick black tights and chunky boots but when I wore this out I wore black chunky heels and glittery gold ankle socks.
