End of Summer Florals...

I'm still not quite over summer, and this post is definitely quite a summery outfit and I'm sporting a bit of a tan in the photos which has sadly now well and truly disappeared!
As much as I love wrapping up in blankets and being cosy, summer is and always will be my favourite season, energy levels are so much higher in winter I just feel like heading into hibernation!

Towards the end of summer I found a new love for floaty culotte style trousers, this pair being one of them and they could be worn in the transition into Autumn/Winter with some chunky knits.
I bought these trousers like my last post from Sainsbury's, I was surprised to find them but unfortunately they didn't have my size. This didn't deter me and I bought them as they were so cheap and took them in so they did fit!
They look gorgeous with a tan and I've styled them quite simply with a white crop came bought from Zara in Spain, its from their basic range so is also available here.
I've accessorised with a dainty gold choker necklace also from Zara and these fab gold leaf statement earrings. These are very similar to the Zara ones seen all over Love Island this summer, but I bought these in Spain from a small accessories shop.

I'll be continuing to wear these trousers into Autumn but layered up to the max, but I'll still be ready and waiting for next Summer to come back around!

Pastel Tie Dye Vibes...

So Summer is officially over, Leeds was a couple of weeks ago (still finding glitter absolutely everywhere) and the British weather has definitely taken a turn for the worseBut that won't stop me from dressing for sun at every available opportunity!

Leeds was incredible as always, and I think it might have been the first time ever since I've been going that there hasn't been a torrential downpour and the need for rain macs (I even took mine out of my bag and left it in the tent!) so that definitely made it even better than usual!
I've been spamming my Instagram with all my outfits from the weekend and obviously it was very sequin heavy, I even bought a lilac and pink wig to wear which I absolutely love and think I may now need in every colour. It even tempted me to chop off all my hair, a little bit.
The line up was incredible as always and we had jam packed schedules every day, I think Kasabian were definitely up there as one of my favourites of the weekend, along with Haim and the Don Broco secret set, I need to go to Ally Pally in November!

I love tie dye prints and this out fit definitely fits in a lot of tie dye vibes! I bought the top as part of a set from Primark its intended for the beach but I definitely think the top is wearable solo, I wore the full set on holiday when I visited Salou earlier in the summer. Its beautiful pastel blues and pinks and an off shoulder style which I love. I think the set went in to the sale so you may even be able to pick it up now for a bargain price!
The trousers are a jean style culotte and I spotted them in the most unlikely of places, Sainsbury's, I usually get a lot of my office work wear from there so never expected to find these gems they were in the sale so I think only cost about £6. They are a lightweight denim style material so are super comfy to wear.
I've styled with my gold and silver patchwork boots from Primark and then some fab gold star hoop earrings from H&M, I bought these in Tarragona, Spain as I've never actually spotted them in England and they were in the sale too, bonus!!

Slashed Tie Dye...

Tomorrow I head to Leeds Festival, as much as I'm looking forward to it, it will also mark the end of Summer and the end of festival season which is always the worst time of year! But before that I'm so so excited to get there, I'm still in the process of outfit planning and general packing (I always, always leave it till the last min!) but be assured there will be sequins and glitter galore!

I bought this fab bright tie dye tee dress with the intention of wearing it on holiday, but obviously over packed so only wore it as a quick cover up! This is the second style of this tee dress I have bought from Missguided, I loved the pastel pink velvet one so much as its ridiculously comfy as soon as I saw this tie dye version I needed it in my life!
I love the bright tie dye print and again the choker style deep V neck line, this tee dress differs to the velvet as it also has added slash detailing which helps to grunge up the look.
I've styled the tee with some chunky silver sandals and my rainbow earrings I made from Hama beads!

Gingham and Brights...

Whats a holiday if it doesn't involve a small shopping trip? Whilst I was recently in Spain I paid a visit to Zara, they always seem to have so much better stock in Spain, I never seem to find anything in my local one.
I could have got so carried away but managed to be slightly sensible as my luggage was already overweight!

I spotted these trousers on the sale rail and immediately wanted them, I think they were about 7 Euros so an absolute bargain. I love the bright pink colour and the loose fitted style which make them so comfortable to wear.
Following my visit to Spain I went in to my local Zara to see if they had any of the other pieces I'd spotted there. They didn't but they did have a ridiculous amount of fab tops for £3.99 so I bought a few. This black and white gingham one being one of them, I love the crop style and the puff style arms, I've worn this off shoulder but it can be worn slightly higher on the arm.
I've accessorised with my gold and silver Primark patchwork boots and white pom pom earrings.

Wild About Zebra...

So I have very recently come back from a holiday to Salou in Spain, I had an absolutely incredible time it was so nice to be out in the sun and have such a chilled time. Although we did manage to pack in a lot of activities while we were there, the best being mermaid school which was absolutely incredible and the best day ever. Whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up when I was a child I always replied 'Mermaid' so to take part in such a fabulous experience was a dream come true, I now want to move on to the lessons in the sea so will definitely be looking to go somewhere to do this!
We also managed to spend a day in Barcelona, which was such a beautiful city we had little time so crammed in as much as possible I definitely wanted to go back and spend a little more time there.

I bought this dress from H&M to take away with me, I'd had my eyes on the zebra print trousers and hadn't actually ever seen this maxi dress in the same print. I thought it would be perfect for the evening on holiday, however one thing I didn't realise is quite how high the split does go when moving about in the dress. Being quite tall it was a bit of a problem, so I've now styled the dress with a pair of cycle shorts underneath!
I've accessorised with my pink pom pom earrings an pink faux fur heels to add a pop of colour to the black and white print and love how they go together.
