Fringing and Lace...

So this time of year I'm usually off to Glastonbury, however after failing miserably at getting tickets this year I'm sat in my room writing this blog post. I can admit I'm not a massive fan of the headliners, in fact not a fan at all but I really wish I could be off getting lost in Shangri La or discovering something weird and wonderful. At least I won't be getting stuck in the mud! 

Anyway this post has a definite festival vibe, even though I've not yet dared wear the cream trousers at a British festival with the fear they'll get absolutely ruined by mud! I've also found it quite difficult to find a top that would perfectly go with them. 

I've styled them with a crochet top I picked up in the Topshop sale last year, you can't really tell but the fabric is ever so slightly glittery which makes it absolutely perfect or summer. 

I'm also wearing my favourite jacket in the world that I bought earlier in the year from a Kilo Sale, I still can't believe how much of a bargain it was! 

I'v accessorised simply with big gold circle lens sunglasses (as usual these were from Primark!) paired with a bold dark lipstick by Mac. I need to start restocking my Mac lipstick collection I have the stupid habit of losing them, I lost my absolute favourite a couple of weeks ago!

Vintage Glitter Unitard...

I've recently found a new love for unitards and jumpsuits, and have managed to pick up some fabulous ones! The rainbow unitard by Minga London is a particular favourite and I wore it at Parklife for my birthday last weekend. This unitard however came from a very unlikely source, my mum! My parents were clearing out their loft when my mum found this absolute gem, it is a two tone metallic grey with glitter ingrained to the fabric. As soon as she showed it to me I instantly had to try it on praying it would fit. Luckily it did and I think it's going to make the absolute perfect festival outfit with glitter make up! 

I've styled the unitard with this fabulous silver embroidered waistcoat and studded silver belt both bought from kilo sales. I haven't been to one in a while I need to, to pick up some more bargains! 

I also found this fabulous glasses in Tiger I'm not sure that they are actually sunglasses but in the British weather the need for actual sunglasses is rare so I'll wear these on drizzly festival days! I absolutely love them they add sparkle to any outfit!

Pastels and Leather Fringing...

Summer is finally here even though most of the time it doesn't feel like it! These shorts are one of my absolute faves for summer I bought them a couple of years ago from a Lou Lou's vintage fair and have worn them every year since! 

I love the pastel pink floral design and they fit perfectly. 

I'm a massive fan of fringing, so when I spied this leather white waistcoat at a vintage kilo sale recently I immediately snapped it up, I don't think it cost me anymore than £5/6 so a massive bargain!  I absolutely love it and it'll definitely be a staple to my summer festival wardrobe it is slightly oversized but I'm hoping in time the leather will loosen up a little more to make the fit less boxy! And can't wait to crack it out for my next festival! 

To complement the pink pastel colouring I have accessorised with silver jewellery and these fab pastel pink sunglasses another pair I picked up from Primark, for my ever expanding collection!

Walls X ASOS...

As soon as the Walls x ASOS collection was launched last year I wanted this unitard, I never got round to purchasing it and then it went in to the sale and I needed it immediately! I love the summery ice lolly print and Twister lollies have always been a fave of mine! 

I wore this unitard when I went to see Melanie Martinez a couple of weeks back in London, it suited her vibe and music perfectly and I've recently got tickets to see her again in November! 

This unitard will be perfect for upcoming summer festivals with lots of face glitter, it is quite a warm outfit but I'm sure there'll be rain at some point it is England after all, there's never a festival without rain!

I love that the unitard has a low dip back, I accessorised with a belt to pull in the waist a little as the sizing was a bit off but with a belt it fits me perfectly.
