Tropical Vibes...

So I've just finished packing my suitcase because I'm going on holiday tomorrow!! I'm flying to Salou in the morning for a well deserved week in the sun and I'm so excited.
I've definitely over packed for the occasion but who really cares!

So channeling the holiday vibes this outfit is very tropical, I've styled this fabulous flamingo bodysuit (or swimsuit whichever you want) from Primark with my customised sequin patch jeans that I absolutely love to get out at this time of year!
I've styled this look with some chunky silver sandals that I picked up the other day in Matalan ready for the beach and I am also wearing my fave summer sunglasses from H&M with little palm tree detailing.
Just to add a little extra to the outfit I am wearing some massive pineapple earrings which I've made myself using those little ironing beads, I absolutely love them and when I get back I'm definitely going to be making some more designs. These pineapples are obviously coming with me on holiday as they are too tropical not to!

Feather Boas and Sequins...

I'm currently suffering from the post festival blues after coming home from TRNSMT in Glasgow, I had the most amazing weekend and it was such a nice change to be staying in the luxury of a hotel than our usual tent set up!
The line up was incredible and I managed to see all of my faves including; Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, The View, Blossoms, Twin Atlantic to name just a few! The atmosphere was so amazing and everyone was so friendly which is probably why I'm missing it even more.
I am however flying to Salou on Friday and we have every inflatable imaginable ready for the pool, so I'm very excited!

Onto this dress, I spotted this fabulous feather boa trimmed dress in a charity shop for a bargain £3.99. When I bought the dress it was a maxi style so I bought the dress as a project to rework to make it more wearable, it was very straightforward as all it really needed was shortening so I did this and hemmed the bottom of the dress also. I wore the dress on a night out for my birthday, obviously with lots and lots of glitter too!
I've styled it with my Pretty Little Thing Iridescent Sequin Kimono which I am absolutely in love with, I bought it courtesy of my work for my birthday so cost me nearly nothing! I wore it at TRNSMT and it got so many compliments, Ashton was also wearing her Rainbow Jaded London Kimono and the whole of TRNSMT absolutely loved all our sequins! They looked so fab in the sun, I'm planning on taking mine on holiday so I can sparkle around the pool!
I've also styled with my cat eye sunglasses from Primark and some fab Pom Pom earrings bought from Poundworld!

Pastel Pinks and Fish Nets...

I'm off to TRNSMT festival tomorrow in Glasgow and I'm so so excited, the line ups incredible and theres even a rumour that Arctic Monkeys might show up Saturday night (I'm feeling doubtful but fingers crossed!). We fly in the morning and then are heading to both the Saturday and Sunday, packing my suitcase is proving to be an absolute mare, sequins weigh a lot more than you think!

This dress is from Missguided, I picked it up in the sale and I absolutely love the oversized slouchy fit and the choker detail around the neck. It's sort of a velvet sale material with a crinkle effect, I've styled it with cycle shorts and fish nets along with my chunky boots and obviously my fab glitter shell earrings by No Basic Bombshell!

I actually wore this outfit for the first day of Download a few weeks back and it was perfect for a festival, I obviously added a little more glitter in both my makeup and also in the V cutaway of the dress.
I'm wearing one of my new fave lipsticks from Limecrime, Mercury its a gorgeous metallic lilac and I think you can potentially buy it from ASOS now as they have recently started stocking Limecrime!

Crochet on Crochet...

If anything can make a summer outfit more fabulous then its crochet, I absolutely love it and definitely can't resist it when its such fab bright colours like this dress!
The dress is from Primark, I'd been eyeing it up but didn't ever get round to trying it on but recently it's gone in to their sale and I ended up paying only £3 (I think!), an absolute bargain. I was tempted by the blue and orange version but thought the bright pinks and oranges were definitely more summery!
The dress is fitted but has lots of stretch so it doesn't cling too much and has a tie detailing on the neckline. I was slightly worried the dress would be see through because of the nature of the fabric but I was pleasantly surprised!
I've styled the dress with my maxi kimono, also crochet, from H&M it was part of the first Coachella collection a couple of years back and I've definitely got lots of wear out of it! I'm also wearing my trusty pom pom earrings and big cat eye lens sunglasses from Primark!

Fish Nets and Leather...

I'd been looking for a Metallica band tee for a while, I'm a big fan and hadn't managed to find one I liked enough, but when I saw this Master of Puppets oversized fit purple tee on Missguided I needed to have it. I love the 'burnt out' style of the print and the colour is much more me, the sleeves have a rolled up detail and its a brilliant upgrade from my Glastallica tee which seems to have disappeared deep into the depths of my wardrobe!
Instead of wearing the tee lose I've tied it at the side to show the fishnet tight detail on my waistline, I'm also wearing my trusty leather shorts that I bought in Pop Boutique, Manchester years ago they just keep getting better and better with age too!

I've accessorised with big circle sunglasses, a triple banded choker and these fab big hoops with black tassel detailing. I'm wearing my new favourite Limecrime lipstick, Mercury from their metallic range I absolutely love it and I'm toying with the idea of buying the new mermaid metallics set!!
