Vintage Sequins and Crochet...

H&M have been on top form with their summer range this year, I absolutely loved the crochet dress from the Coachella range which I unfortunately didn't get. But this crochet top is my consolation prize, I am absolutely love it and it's perfect for summer.

I'm always scouring eBay for hidden gems and managed to find these fab vintage Betty Barclay sequin trousers. I couldn't believe my luck when they arrived and were the perfect fit, although they are extremely heavy to wear they might have to come to a festival with me! I've styled this look with some silver oversized circle lens sunglasses from Primark.

Club Tropicana...

A few months ago I bought a selection of fab sequin patches with the intention of sewing them on to a pair of vintage mom jeans. Its taken me absolutely ages to actually get round to doing this, but they are finally complete and I absolutely love them!
The patches were all bought from various eBay stores, some were imported from America but they still didn't cost much and because the jeans were bought from a kilo sale the finished product cost less than £20, bargain!
I've rolled the ends around the ankle to give a slightly cropped look and paired with a chunky black belt as the jeans are a little big around the waist!

I've styled with this absolutely gorgeous bright tropical print body suit, I bought this for 50p from a charity shop. I think it's supposed to be a swimming costume but looks great with these jeans and continues the Club Tropicana look!
I've accessorised with two chunky chains one with dangling palm trees and the other with pineapples along with my fab H&M palm tree sunglass.

Fringing and Lace...

So this time of year I'm usually off to Glastonbury, however after failing miserably at getting tickets this year I'm sat in my room writing this blog post. I can admit I'm not a massive fan of the headliners, in fact not a fan at all but I really wish I could be off getting lost in Shangri La or discovering something weird and wonderful. At least I won't be getting stuck in the mud!

Anyway this post has a definite festival vibe, even though I've not yet dared wear the cream trousers at a British festival with the fear they'll get absolutely ruined by mud! I've also found it quite difficult to find a top that would perfectly go with them.
I've styled them with a crochet top I picked up in the Topshop sale last year, you can't really tell but the fabric is ever so slightly glittery which makes it absolutely perfect or summer.
I'm also wearing my favourite jacket in the world that I bought earlier in the year from a Kilo Sale, I still can't believe how much of a bargain it was!

I'v accessorised simply with big gold circle lens sunglasses (as usual these were from Primark!) paired with a bold dark lipstick by Mac. I need to start restocking my Mac lipstick collection I have the stupid habit of losing them, I lost my absolute favourite a couple of weeks ago!

Vintage Glitter Unitard...

I've recently found a new love for unitards and jumpsuits, and have managed to pick up some fabulous ones! The rainbow unitard by Minga London is a particular favourite and I wore it at Parklife for my birthday last weekend. This unitard however came from a very unlikely source, my mum! My parents were clearing out their loft when my mum found this absolute gem, it is a two tone metallic grey with glitter ingrained to the fabric. As soon as she showed it to me I instantly had to try it on praying it would fit. Luckily it did and I think it's going to make the absolute perfect festival outfit with glitter make up!

I've styled the unitard with this fabulous silver embroidered waistcoat and studded silver belt both bought from kilo sales. I haven't been to one in a while I need to, to pick up some more bargains!
I also found this fabulous glasses in Tiger I'm not sure that they are actually sunglasses but in the British weather the need for actual sunglasses is rare so I'll wear these on drizzly festival days! I absolutely love them they add sparkle to any outfit!
