Fallen In Love with... Motel Vintage

I have always been a massive fan of Motel I absolutely love their bright statement prints and their unique styles of clothing! I recently came across Motel Vintage, I am a massive fan of vintage clothing I love going vintage shopping and having a good rummage amongst racks of clothes (Manchester is a particular fave to shop!). I love finding hidden gems and finding pieces I know that nobody else will have!
So when I discovered Motel Vintage I was super excited about looking through the pieces that they had on offer, Motel Vintage source their pieces worldwide which makes every piece truly unique these are then reworked into one of their signature styles to create a truly unique vintage piece with a modern twist!
All of the different styles are absolutely fab, but I love these four styles; The Hannah Playsuit, The Violet Maxi Dress, The Vinnie Dress and The Gypsy Crop. I would love to style any of these pieces for a festival, I feel the unique prints of each piece created by Motel Vintage would look fabulous in this environment teamed with a floral headband or feather headdress and a pair of Dr Martens you can't go wrong!

Motel Vintage have also created a fab SS14 campaign video showcasing the fab SS14 collection! Take a look at the video and check out the fab collection online, and see all the fab unique pieces for yourself!

What I Wore At... British Summertime The Libertines

Last weekend I attended one of the Barclays British Summertime gigs at Hyde Park in London. I went to see The Libertines one on the Saturday, it was an all day event so was very festival like which is just what I needed to cure my post Glastonbury blues!
The lineup was fabulous, so many amazing bands as well as The Libertines, we managed to catch The Enemy, Wolf Alice (from a queue outside the tent!!), Reverend & the Makers, The View and The Libertines.

I wore a very Festival inspired look, wearing my amazing feather headband I received for my birthday! I can't wait to wear it again at Benicassim next week;

What I Wore At... Glastonbury Festival

This week I came back from my absolute favourite festival Glastonbury, it was my third time attending this festival and was as magical and amazing as ever! With so many highlights and fabulous moments, I decided I wanted to create a post featuring the outfits I wore throughout the Festival, initially I intended to take these photos whilst at the festival but I was having too much fun to spend time get the shots how I wanted them! So I've recreated these outfits at home, clean and mud free!!

Just before I left for Glastonbury I received two fabulous gifts one a gorgeous floral bum bag from Summer Crown and a beautiful floral crop top from Love Red Label both proved essential for the festival and helped create some fab festival looks! The bum bag was the perfect size for keeping all my valuables close by!

Having attended festivals regularly for quite a few years now I decided before Glastonbury this year I would get some Mehndi Henna by the lovely Rachel of Summer Breeze Henna onto my hand and forearm to get into the festival spirit! Combined with my Tie Dye House Of Holland nails this looked fab!

We arrived at Glastonbury mid afternoon on the Wednesday after a very long coach drive in which the driver seemed to get very lost!
Thursday
My first outfit post is from the Thursday before the rain came! We managed to catch The 1975 at their secret gig! The heavens opened later in the afternoon so my decision to wear this outfit became quite questionable, take note: a maxi dress and mud don't mix!!

Fallen in Love With... Kimonos, Kimonos, Kimonos!

This summer I have well and truly fallen in love with kimonos, they are the most perfect item of clothing to throw over pretty much any outfit and are the absolute best for Festivals!
I pretty much like to dress summery all year round even when the weathers awful (most of the time in Britain), kimonos instantly make an outfit look and feel summery.

I currently have two kimonos which I am finding myself wearing a lot!

The first is this absolutely gorgeous pastel paisley print kimono from Primark, made from a chiffony material this kimono is incredibly floaty. The pastel shades of lilac and pink within the paisley pattern is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to wear it at festivals this summer!
This is how I styled it:

My second kimono is this beautiful black lace fringed kimono, bought from Ark last year it is from the 'NaaNaa' label.

As this kimono is black it goes with pretty much anything and is the perfect cover up for when it gets colder at night! The lace floral pattern all over the kimono is beautiful and the fringing makes the kimono feel very appropriate for festivals.

Blogger Mail... Triangl Milly Bikini

I was absolutely ecstatic to receive an email from Triangl Swimwear, asking if I'd like to receive one of their fabulous pieces. I have been a fan of Triangl for a while and have loved everything they have done to date, however I had never got round to ordering one myself.
Obviously I said yes to this amazing offer, and the lovely Emma asked me to pick my top 3 bikinis from their collection.
This was obviously a very hard decision but I managed to compile my list, I decided the style that would best suit my body shape would have to be one with straps to support my bust. I settled on the Milly style in Candy Pink.
Its always tough deciding on sizing when ordering online but both Emma and the online live chat service that Triangl provide were extremely helpful with deciding on sizing.
My bikini arrived so fast it was dispatched on the Tuesday and was arranged to be delivered at my house in the UK on the Thursday! Lightning quick.

As soon as the bikini arrived (in its gorgeous packaging),  I had to immediately try it on it fit like a glove Emma and the team advised very well on the sizing! The material is absolutely fab (a sort of neoprene similar to that of a wet suit) it fits to the skin well and is very comfortable. I am very pleased with the Candy Pink colour I chose it is an absolutely gorgeous shade of pink!

I'm so excited to get alot of wear out of it when I go away in July. I'd highly recommend Triangl to everybody brilliant service and amazing pieces. I can't wait to expand my Triangl collection!
